Hello all ... let me introduce myself .... been a member of Corus Sailing club since 1984, slowly reaching mid life, got fed up with racing dinghies so sold the laser dinghy and bought a Fanatic Viper. Corus sailing club passed a rule this year as well to allow windsurfing on the lake, it's a win win situation. I think I'm doing it properly but loving every moment, got on the plane and in harness for the first time 2 weeks ago ... brown wetsuit time ... living the dream.

Hi, welcome to windsurfing. The sailing club must be a great location to learn. They should hold an open sampler day sometime for windsurfers so we can all come down and pay for just a day's sailing. There would need to be wind, of course, and preferably not too many dinghies. Perhaps a day when there is too much wind for dinghies...
