Hi Guys,
It's that time of year when we need to raise as much cash as we can to continue to run and develop the Barry Windsurfing Association!
Your membership money and any other funds we raise go towards the insurance we need to use and teach at cosmeston, sail at Llandegfedd and run the events we get involved in year round!
We are also working to build up a collection of kit that you can borrow and use yourselves and to teach friends....including beginner windsurf kit, kiddy rigs and paddle boards! This is free of charge, you just need to book it on the forum, and gve me a call to arrange collection if it's at the shop or speak to the other mambers that may be looking after it.....
Ok,easy....so wat does it cost?
£20 for single membership £30 for family membership
Is that all I hear you say....exactly! So please pop into the shop and fill out the membership form and pay with cash or cheque asap. Your old membership runs out after the weekend.
Even if you don't think you'll use cosmeston or the other kit everybody should have 3rd party insurance, and every membership helps support the club and bring newcomers into the sport locally!
We'll also be running beginner lessons and courses at Cosmeston on most Sundays throughout the summer, just call me or email to arrange a booking. There will be improver sessions, with Nobby Kicking things off for those who want to venture on to the sea this weekend in Dale - call him on 07742571000 if you'd like to go and find out more.
SUP and fittness will be running on Tuesdays's at cosmeston, one session at 6.15pm and one at 7.15pm. This costs £12 per person including paddleboard and buoyancy aid or £7 per person if you have your own board.....
Lets make the most of the summer, keep it healthy and I thank you in advance for your support of the BWA that couldn't be running without it's members!!
