Here's an updated note to say that you should BOOK THIS WEEK OFF NOW, di right now.....so get your permissions or bring the family, I am!

Numbers - there is an availability of only 10 places on this trip for tuition, but more for holiday only, so please be sure to book flights straight away! Lets make this a warm water BWA trip for the local crew that we've long been talking about...

Flights - you have to book your own, and don't hang around as they are pretty cheap at the moment but are creeping up as time goes on. I can confirm that we are aiming to fly the group together from Cardiff with flythomascook.com leaving at 7.15am on 8th and return 15th 12.15pm. This is the flight I have already booked, and would encourage you to do so right away! Ideally we will all be on the same flight for ease of organisation and to ensure that first day afternoon sailing is not missed!! (however it will be possible to fly from bristol/midlands/london airports on the same day)

In terms of ability it is very much an improvers course that will be tailored to suit everyone who attends. The one-on-one time will work towards your goals, and we'll team up groups looking to acheive the same things on different days. Ideally you would be making most of your waterstarts or learning, and starting to use the harness, looking to get into the straps as a minimum suggestion to work from. Top end - there is nothing Gibson can not teach you I can assure you of that! Loops, Takas, shakas....hell i have no Idea what half the stuff is that he does...check out his video links etc. from his site detailed below!

Flat water and wavey locations with some easy fun beaches to sail at will be included....don't panic on the conditions as there is something for everyone in very close proximity on Fuerteventura.

Where we are staying has direct views of several beaches to easily suss the conditions for the day! It is a great time of year for wind, expecting 4.7m - 5.3m average most of the week, for my weight I'd take 4.7-5.6m sails as a rough guide.

Basic details of the trip and what's included are:

Cost - £480
stay - 1 week
Transport - Included (hire cars or vans + people carrier is covered by us)
Kit - Own travel (£20 each way per package wth thomas cook) or hire options.
accomodation - included 3 star self catering.
lunch packs each day provided for the beach
4 evening meals incluing 2 group BBQ's and 2 restaurant meals!
nights out including one saturday night biggie around the town bars, plenty of action at corky's and the famous Waikiki Club on the beach!
Pool comp for the week against Corky....drinks prizes!
Light wind alternatives (just incase)
Video and photo feedback and reviews - photo collection to each member of the group. Trip video.
Tour T-Shirt with your name on it.
Tuition for all levels over 5 days, broken into groups for suitable beaches if needed! Guided half days sailing on arrival and group assessment.
Visit to the Witchcraft factory to see boards being designed/made and tested by you for strength!
1 Day of rest/guided freesailing/hangover mid trip (sunday).
Awards Ceremony and prize giving on last night.
Tuition including daily one-on-one time, working on your specific wishes with Steven Gibson, and helped along by myself. Check out gibbo at http://gibboinfuerte.blogspot.com/

Once I know who's in, I will give an equipment advice clinic at the shop to best advise you individually on what to consider taking or Hiring. (there will be a board only hire option from puravida at £50 per week for any board you like or flag beach which will be cheapest other than flying your kit) - hire of a flight/double bag is £25.

Very much looking forward to our first BWA Clinc Trip in warmer waters, and get back to me asap if you are interested in going.

Hope to get some more booked on soon - call me for a chat if you want more info or aren't sure if it's for you?!

There have been a few additional bookings on a holiday basis, excluding the tuition but with all other options....we are happy to offer this for your family/friends/partners etc. at £350 seperate to the 10 places including tuition for the week.

If you are looking to take a double/flight bag for your board and don't want to buy your own, we will be hiring them out for £25 per trip (1st come 1st served)

Check out www.flagbeach.com for general hire options and rates. It is far cheaper if you can take your own, and you can work out a board only hire option through our shop (£50 per board):

Flag Beach Board only 1 day - 30 euros
Flag Beach Board only 1 week - 140 euros
Pura Vida Board Only 1 week - £50

many thanks....

you can fly from various airports and prices but boards are only £20 with Thomas Cook and it's super easy from Cardiff! Most are on this flight:

Going Out - Cardiff (CWL) to Fuerteventura (FUE)
Wednesday, 08 Sep 10
Operated by: Flight TCX817K
Thomas Cook Airlines
Depart Cardiff (CWL) at 07:15 and arrive in Fuerteventura (FUE) at 11:15

Coming Back - Fuerteventura (FUE) to Cardiff (CWL)
Wednesday, 15 Sep 10
Operated by: Flight TCX817L
Thomas Cook Airlines
Depart Fuerteventura (FUE) at 12:15 and arrive in Cardiff (CWL) at 16:00

Hope this helps...

Just updated some additional members to the crew, cheap flights popped up from bristol too! With only a few people on the actual clinic you'll get plenty of one-on-one tuition and can work on whatever you like!

Jimbo - clinic/demo
Tanya - holiday
Sonny - holiday
Emily Wood - clinic
Brother Wood - clinic
Robin wood - holiday/beginners sessions
Jayne Wood - Holiday
Chris SX Watersports - Clinic
Ian Ross (RB Sails) - demo
James (RB Sails) - holiday

We'll be running demos on the new fanatic and mistral wave range, and you can book any board you like for the week....

Free flight to the first person that contacts me for our fuerteventura clinic week o 8th September.....1 week away!þ

Yes that's true.....there is a free flight going spare for our fuerte clinic trip! sadly one of the group has had to cancel and generously put this flight out to a good cause....you!!

This reprasents an amazing opportunity for one person, and all we ask is that you sign up for the clinic trip in return for the flight!

full details of the trip which is basically all inclusive with plenty of food, transport, accomodation and a full weeks tuition...here:

http://www.puravidaboardriders.co.uk/homenew/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=118:fuerteventura-windsurf-clinic-21st-april-2010&catid=1:latest-news

All you have to do is get in touch with me, book on to the trip and cover the administrational costs via the arline to change the details....but we must move fast as we fly in 1 week on the 8th September!

Don't miss it , and please spread the word to anyone who might be interested!
